01.20.24 5th Annual James B. Beam Institute Industry Conference

The 5th Annual James B. Beam Institute Industry Conference is an event I'm looking forward to. It’s taking place March 11-13, 2024 in Lexington. I am confident it will be the perfect opportunity for me to fully immerse myself in all things bourbon from a business and operations standpoint.

I am most excited about meeting industry expert I s. have a feeling this is the event of the year to meet some of the most knowledgeable and influential people in the industry. Networking with distillers, brand ambassadors, and other experts who can offer valuable insights and advice will be beneficial.

The educational sessions are certainly going to be worth my time. There are a range of educational sessions on topics such as operations, hospitality, branding, and consumer trends. There is no doubt I will walk away feeling inspired, motivated, and even more focused on my goals.

On a very personal note, if you told me five years ago I would be attending bourbon industry events to contribute meaningfully to the dynamic and evolving landscape of bourbon I would have said that’s crazy. But here I am. My fascination for the rich history and cultural significance of bourbon has certainly grown over the past few years. And the idea of sharing my customer service and hospitality expertise with others beyond funeral service was an exciting one to pursue. Just like funeral service, the bourbon industry values tradition, quality, and innovation and I’m happy to be here!
